ArmInfo.Armenian Ambassador to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki International Trade Exhibition (TIF- HELEXPO) Tasos Dzikas.
According to the press service of the Armenian Embassy in Greece, Mkrtchyan noted with satisfaction that from the moment of their first meeting with Dzikas, Armenia's active participation in various HELEXPO events and exhibitions began.
The Armenian diplomat also thanked for inviting Armenia to the 37th international tourism exhibition Philoxenia-Hotelia, held in Thessaloniki on November 18-20, 2022, for the first time as the "Honorary Country" of the year.
At the same time, Mkrtchyan emphasized the need for Armenia's active participation in events organized within the framework of the International Exhibition in Thessaloniki, including innovative BEYOND technologies, book exhibitions and other events.
Dzikas, in turn, welcoming the interest of the Armenian side, presented the events organized by the center, inviting Armenia to take part in them. A number of initiatives aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and economic ties were also discussed at the meeting.
The meeting was also attended by the Executive Director of the HELEXPO organization Kyriakos Pozrikidis and the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Thessaloniki Akis Dagazyan.
