Team Telecom once again joins the Sevan Startup Summit

ArmInfo. The annual campsite  business forum Sevan Startup summit once again gathered investors,  mentors and representatives of innovative startups from around the  world.

Team Telecom Armenia became the technology partner of the event  following the goal to inspire generation of talented youth and  strengthening Armenia's position as a technological hub in the  region.  Hayk Yesayan, Team Telecom Armenia CEO, hold a meeting with  the summit participants on the topic:  "The future of electric  vehicles in Armenia: how to change the infrastructure". In  particular, he presented a new product - Team Energy, which is to  say, has become a startup within a large company.

"The future of electric vehicles in Armenia depends not only on  technology, but also on our willingness to change infrastructure and  thinking. Through Team Energy, we aim to create an ecosystem where  the use of electric vehicles becomes not only possible, but also  preferable. Our goal is not just to simplify the use of electric  vehicles, but also to form a culture of sustainable development," he  emphasized.

This Sevan forum has played a major role in formation and development  of the startup ecosystem of Armenia. It has recently gained  international fame and was held in the United Arab Emirates and India  under the name Seaside Startup Summit.  This year, within the frames  of the Summit, Sevan EV Rally 2024: electric vehicles were charged at  Team Energy fast charging stations specially set up for the race. The  goal of the event was to draw attention to the eco-environment of  Sevan and promote the practice of using electric vehicles.

According to Vahagn Rapyan, Director of Sevan Startup Summit, through  new events, they are trying to make the summit more inclusive and  attract new industries. "Team has been supporting us for several  years now, and in two years we have created quite a serious  infrastructure that provides Wi-Fi coverage in this vast territory,"  - he said.

The press service of Team Telecom states that there are 64 Team  Energy charging stations located throughout Armenia. The application  is used by about 1,000 people per day, and over the past six months,  the kilowatt consumption of subscribers has doubled. Charging  stations provide a power of up to 160 kW and are designed for  electric vehicles of any brand. Using the Team Energy application,  you can find the nearest filling stations, refuel by paying with an  attached card. Team Telecom Armenia subscribers can pay from their  phone number balance. The application is available on the App Store  and Play Market.
