ArmInfo. An interdepartmental working group has been established in Armenia to create a strategy for the development of the water sector in the country. The decision to form the working group was signed by RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
According to the press service of the RA government, the interdepartmental working group will study the problems that have arisen in the water sector in recent years. The group will be led by the Deputy Prime Minister responsible for this sector. It will include ministers, members of the National Assembly, heads of the Public Services Regulatory Commission and the Water Committee as well as the mayor of Yerevan.
The coordinator of the working group will be the deputy chairman of the Cadastre Committee responsible for the relevant area. Every three months he will provide the Prime Minister's Office with updates on the progress of the group's work.
