ArmInfo. The implementation  of large-scale projects in the urban development sphere in Armenia  will require a significantly increased construction capacity. This  statement was made yesterday at a ceremony dedicated to Builder's Day  by Tigran Khachatryan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of  Armenia.

According to him, as quoted by the press service of the Cabinet of  Ministers, the Armenian government has committed to carrying out  urban development projects of an unprecedented scale across the  republic.  This includes constructing projects to build several  hundred schools, preschools, healthcare facilities, sports and  cultural centers, thousands of kilometers of roads and large-scale  infrastructure projects. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that  the timely and high-quality implementation of the government program  relies heavily on the capabilities of construction organizations, the  quality and dedication of work, investments and the effectiveness of  public-private partnerships.

The Deputy Prime Minister also underlined the significance of  utilizing technological innovations. "It is important for the urban  development sector to serve as a catalyst for the economy not just in  terms of its volumes, but also in terms of incorporating innovative  technical solutions, maintaining quality and promoting a culture of  organized construction work." In this regard, he expressed his  gratitude to all those builders who diligently execute government  programs, recognizing that they are constructing for the future,  benefiting both current and future generations.  "The best assessment  of your work today will come from the children who will attend new  comfortable schools and preschool institutions tomorrow, the patients  who will be treated in modern, well-equipped medical institutions   and the people who will be able to travel quickly and safely on  well-constructed roads," the Deputy Prime Minister said. The Minister  of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan, along  with  the Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghyazar  Vardanyan and the Chairman of the Union of Builders Gagik Galstyan  also extended their congratulations to the builders.

After the speeches, an award ceremony was held to honor the most  distinguished builders.
