Armenian Businessman lashes out at State Revenue Committee

ArmInfo. The State Revenue  Committee (SRC) of Armenia is engaged in terror against Armenian  business. This assessment was made by the Chairman of the Union of  Entrepreneurs Vahram Mirakyan.

According to Mirakyan, recently the country's Tax and Customs  Committee has been actively arresting businessmen, transferring fraud  cases to the Investigative Committee, not returning VAT debit  balances to businesses, etc.

At one time, when laws were written only for people to violate them,  and officials profited from this violation, the SRC developed a law  according to which, if a business violates the law by more than 4  million drams, the SRC can initiate a criminal case and arrest the  businessman: Imagine the absurdity of the situation - for a business  with a turnover of 10 billion drams, a violation of 4 million can be  caused by an accountant's sneeze, but as a result, the director is  arrested. Now the second most interesting thing: this violation can  only be recorded on the basis of a tax inspector's conclusion, and  then cancelled, but the arrest has already been imposed," Mirakyan  wrote on his Facebook page.

The expert notes that this year the budget revenues were collected  less than planned, since the economy is also developing more weakly  than planned, as a result the State Revenue Committee is attacking  business (According to the Ministry of Finance, the tax shortfall for  the first half of the year was approximately 120 billion drams -  ed.). And to imitate work, numerous arrests are needed - businessmen  have begun to be arrested left and right.

Budget revenues have decreased, this is very bad, especially since  our country has big problems, but think about it, is it really worth  replenishing the budget with terrorism?>, - asks the expert.  According to him, this policy leads to an outflow of capital from the  country. , - writes the chairman of the Union of  Entrepreneurs Vahram Mirakyan.
