ArmInfo. Armenia's Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan had a meeting in Riga with Mr Girts Krumins, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture of Latvia. The sides discussed the development of bilateral trade and economic relations.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, during the meeting, issues related to the development of trade and economic relations between Armenia and Latvia, diversification of the Armenian economy, expansion of cooperation in various areas of the economy were discussed.
The possibilities of expanding export volumes were mentioned separately. The Minister presented to the Latvian side the state policy being implemented in the sphere of the Armenian economy and the tools of state support offered to businesses. Papoyan also mentioned the need to strengthen and expand business ties.
