Team Telecom Armenia - WCIT2024/DigiTec technology partner: MoU  signed

ArmInfo. From October 4 to 7, Yerevan will host the World Congress on Information Technology  (WCIT-2024), bringing together leading technology companies and specialists. The event will take place at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, and the DigiTec exhibition will be held at the  Meridian Exhibition Center. The main technology partner for the event is Team Telecom Armenia.

Today, WCIT2024/DigiTec Hayk Karapetyan, Executive Director, UATE  (Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises), Sargis Karapetyan,  Executive Director, and Team Telecom Armenia CEO Hayk Yesayan signed  a memorandum of cooperation to once again emphasize the strategic  importance of developing the high-tech sector. Thanks to the  Congress, joint measures will be implemented to create a competitive  and comfortable business environment in Armenia. <As a leading  technology company that constantly monitors digital changes  worldwide, Team Telecom Armenia encourages interest in the technology  sector among young people and aims to contribute to the development  of future generation leaders.  It is no coincidence that, we chose  education, science and technology as priority areas of support when  creating the Team. In just a few weeks, two large-scale technology  events will begin. One of these events represents our country on the  map of the technological world, while the other brings global  experience here. 

I am glad that Team Telecom Armenia has once again become an  important part of this technological holiday,> noted Hayk Yesayan,  CEO of Team Telecom Armenia.  Hayk Karapetyan, Executive Director of  the WCIT2024/DigiTec Organizing Committee, pointed out that this is  one of the unique events that brings together the ICT and business  community from all over the world. Armenia will be hosting this event  for the second time.  According to him, the theme of  WCIT2024/DigiTec-2024 this year is <The Power of Thought: Artificial  Intelligence Without Borders>. <And we have the opportunity to show  the whole world the potential of Armenian thought. In this matter, I  am glad that one of the main partners - the Armenian Team Telecom, is  by our side. I am confident that we will have a successful joint  event,> Karapetyan emphasized.  Executive Director of UATE (Union of  Advanced Technology Enterprises) Sargis Karapetyan mentioned the key  role of Team Telecom Armenia in the successful implementation of all  ambitious programs of the Union. <These two technology events will  bring hundreds of international investors, technology leaders and  successful entrepreneurs to Armenia in October. We will host more  than 15 prestigious international media outlets, such as Forbes and  Benzinga. This will certainly have a great impact on the technology  sector development  in Armenia, helping Armenian companies acquire  international partners, attract large investments and enter new  markets>. At the DigiTec exhibition this year, Team will again be  represented by a group of companies united by the desire to implement  innovative ideas, professionalism, and a strong desire to influence  the growth of the country's economic indicators.

In particular, the pavilion will feature Team Telecom Armenia, Team  Pay, Team Solutions, Team Systems, buy.am, and the Team Energy  project for charging electric vehicles.  During the events, Team  Telecom Armenia will provide visitors and participants of WCIT and  DigiTec with Internet access as well as with transportation  communications.
