This is stated in the message of the State Revenue Committee, which has introduced the corresponding legislative changes as part of the customs reform.
As a result of the innovation, goods transported by organizations providing postal or courier services to individuals, which are not for personal use, can now be declared not only by customs brokers or through self-declaration, but also, at the request of the citizen, by the customs authority. Moreover, filling out the declaration for services is done online and free of charge.
Based on the applications and documents submitted by individuals, employees of the Electronic Commerce and Air Transport Department of the State Revenue Committee fill out the goods declaration in a short time and electronically submit it to the applicant for verification. An individual can certify the goods declaration submitted by the customs authority with an electronic or handwritten signature by sending a scanned version electronically. An individual can also pay customs duties incurred from the goods declaration online through the <single window> platform, any banking application or directly at a bank by making a payment to the appropriate accounts.
