ArmInfo.Armenia can integrate into any international scheme that aligns with its interests. As for BRICS, I cannot say what decision will be made.
This statement was made by Babken Tunyan, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Armenian Parliament on Economic Issues and MP from the ruling party , in a conversation with journalists on September 25, when responding to a question about the possibility of the country joining BRICS.
In any case, according to the parliamentarian, even if the Republic of Armenia is not a member of any structure, we will still be able to use the opportunities of that structure or participate in its schemes or mechanisms in a different capacity. This decision will be made based on the interests of the country.
