ArmInfo. In January-September 2024, Armenia collected revenues in the amount of about 1 trillion 698.6 billion drams, which exceeds the figures for the same period last year by 189.1 billion drams or 12.5%. This is stated in the message of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia.
At the same time, as emphasized in the message, about 312 billion drams were collected from customs duties and fees, which is about 60.8 billion drams or 16.3% less than the figures for the same period last year. About 243.4 billion drams were returned to taxpayers and individuals from the state budget (the figures do not include the return of 49.6 billion drams of mortgage loans that were not reduced from income tax), which is about 21.8 billion drams or 8.2% less than the same period last year (the 2023 figures included the return of 37.5 billion drams on mortgage loans).
According to the committee, in January-September 2024, tax and customs authorities collected 2 trillion 10.6 billion drams, of which 243.4 billion drams were returned to taxpayers and individuals. As a result, the actual execution of tax revenues and state duties amounted to 1 trillion 767.2 billion drams, which is 150.2 billion drams or 9.3% more than the same period last year.
If we consider the indicators of January-September 2023 according to the logic of the calculation of 2024, that is, without reducing the amount of income tax refund from a mortgage loan, then the secured income for January-September 2024 will be 112.7 billion drams or 6.8% more than the same indicator of the previous year.
