Gegharkunik Governor: Workers returning to Sotk mine

We have conducted several meetings with the company that operates the Sotk mine, which  has resulted in reinstatement of certain employees in their positions, as stated by Karen Sargsyan, the Governor of the Gegharkunik region, during a conversation with reporters.  He noted that at this point, new jobs have already been created. , Sargsyan said.

Speaking about the situation in Gegharkunik in general, he noted that  the region is calm and people are living their normal lives.  When  asked whether the lands will go to the enemy after the delimitation  and demarcation process, as happened in Tavush, with Kirants,  Sargsyan asked to pay attention to the fact that no part of the  Republic of Armenia has surrendered or been ceded to another state.  "There are occupied lands in our region, but I am sure that the enemy  will leave this territory as a result of delimitation and  demarcation. I am sure that the sovereign territory of Armenia will  remain as the sovereign territory of Armenia," the head of  Gegharkunik concluded.
