EU could provide EUR 235mln to Armenia for resilience improvement  programme 

ArmInfo.The next meeting of the Partnership Council for the implementation of the Comprehensive  and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European  Union will be held in the first quarter of 2025. Deputy Foreign  Minister of the Republic of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan announced  this at the parliamentary hearings on the draft state budget of the  Republic of Armenia for next year on November 5.

According to him, a number of events aimed at developing relations  with the EU are planned to be held in 2025. In particular, it is also  planned to hold a meeting of the Armenia-EU Partnership Committee in  Brussels, a meeting of the Partnership Committee on Trade Issues in  Yerevan and a number of other events.

The Deputy Minister announced that the implementation of the  EU-funded program to increase Armenia's resilience will begin next  year. 235 million euros will be allocated for this 4-year project.  The draft of the relevant agreement with the EU is already in its  final stage.

Hovhannisyan also noted that in the coming weeks, negotiations will  be completed on a new partnership agenda that will complement the  Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and will allow for  the inclusion of new areas of cooperation in the process, including  security-related issues
