ArmInfo. Twenty Armenian companies are participating in the 7th International Import Expo (CIIE) under a single pavilion. The exhibition is held from November 5 to 10 in Shanghai with the aim of ensuring the sustainable development of small and medium businesses. In total, over 800 companies from 60 countries are participating in the exhibition.
The pavilion of Armenian companies was visited by Deputy Minister of Economy Tatevik Sargsyan, Armenian Ambassador to China Vahe Gevorgyan and Trade Attache Koryun Ghazaryan.
According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, foreign trade turnover between Armenia and China in January-September 2024 increased by 34.7%, exceeding $2 billion. At the same time, exports increased by 3.9 times to $907.7 million, while imports decreased by 4.2% to $1.1 billion.
