ArmInfo. The supply of Russian natural gas to Armenia has been temporarily suspended due to the need to carry out emergency recovery work on the territory of Georgia. This was reported by Gazprom Armenia.
According to the source, repair work will be carried out on the Kazakh-Saguramo section of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia transit gas pipeline. They began at 10:00 on November 13 and will last until 22:00 on November 14. During this period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supply to consumers in Armenia will be carried out without restrictions due to internal reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplies from Iran.
Armenia annually receives about 2.5 billion cubic meters of "blue" fuel from Russia through the transit gas pipeline.
