ArmInfo.Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan received the Ambassador of Latvia to Armenia (residence Tbilisi) Edite Medne.
During the meeting, the parties attached importance to finding opportunities for developing cooperation in the field of digitalization, telecommunications and cyber defense.
Ambassador Medne presented to the deputy head of the department initiatives aimed at the technological development of Latvia, in particular focusing on programs for technological education, development of aviation technologies, cyber security, and spoke about Latvia's rich experience in healthcare management.
She noted that in these areas, it is possible to develop cooperation with the Armenian side and implement joint programs.
According to the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, the interlocutors discussed issues of mutual interest. Mantashyan presented to the ambassador the areas of activity of the Ministry, the vision and programs aimed at developing the sphere.
