ArmInfo.Director of IranImport Group Telman Nalbandyan signed a memorandum of cooperation with Homeira Rigi, the Director of the Chabahar Free Trade Zone (CFZ).
As stated in the company's message posted on its Facebook page, Armenian entrepreneurs will gain new opportunities as a result of the signing of the memorandum. They will be able to leverage the infrastructure of the Chabahar port and the trade benefits of the Iranian market. , the company said in a statement.
It should be noted that IranImport Group was founded in 2017 and serves as an intermediary between Armenian and Iranian manufacturing companies, facilitating bilateral relations. The company collaborates with over 200 Iranian suppliers. The company's mission is to enhance trade relations between Armenia, Iran and Russia, eliminate trade barriers and simplify the process of importing goods from Iran to Armenia and Russia. According to the RA Statistical Committee, from January to September 2024, the trade turnover between Armenia and Iran increased by 2.7%, reaching $520.6 million. During the same period, exports grew by 7.7% to $81.2 million, while imports increased by 1.8% to $439.4 million.
