Digital labor contract system to be introduced in Armenia

ArmInfo. A digital system for concluding employment contracts will be introduced in Armenia. At  its session on November 26, the RA National Assembly Committee on  Labor and Social Affairs issued a positive conclusion on the  amendments to the Labor Code submitted by the RA government in the  second reading. 

According to RA Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Ruben  Sargsyan, the legislative initiative will ensure the availability of  contracts in digital format and minimize paperwork, which will speed  up many processes. "The system will be completely digital. It was  developed by the State Revenue Committee, and the parties to the  contract will sign documents with an electronic signature," Sargsyan  explained.
