
ArmInfo.Discussions on economic policy and the resulting tax policy have begun in Armenia, as stated by Deputy Finance Minister Arman Poghosyan during a meeting of the National Assembly Economic Commission on November 27. he said.
According to him, if the discussions reveal the need to develop a new TC with new logic and principles, then it will be developed. However, if the discussions show the need to revise special tax systems, then efforts will be focused on implementing this task, Poghosyan added.
Recall that on November 14, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the parliament stating that the current tax legislation does not stimulate tax payment. Specifically, Pashinyan criticized the turnover tax system as being against the government's objectives. Consequently, he instructed the development of a new Tax Code. he said.
