ArmInfo. There are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in Armenia. This is stated in a statement by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
In particular, as the source notes, the road leading to Lake Kari and the high-mountain weather station "Amberd" is closed. The Tashir-Blagodarnoe and Saratovka-Novoseltsovo roads are also closed for motor vehicles. The Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for trucks with trailers due to icy conditions. The Berd- Chambarak highway is difficult for all types of motor vehicles.
In the Tigranashen region, on the section called "Zanger", on the Aragats-Tsilkar, Berd-Chambarak, Gyumri-Anipemza highway, in the regions of Ashotsk, Aparan, Aragats, Maralik, icy conditions are observed in places. There is fog in the city of Goris.
Due to worsening weather conditions, according to information received from the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center for North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all types of vehicles.
