ArmInfo. In Armenia, production volumes for all alcoholic beverages, except for wine and champagne, have increased over the first 10 months of this year. This is evidenced by data from the RA Statistical Committee.
According to statistics, from January to October 2024, wine production volumes decreased by 26.2% to 8.1 million liters, while sparkling wine (champagne) decreased by 24% to 839.6 thousand liters. During the same time, whiskey production saw a significant increase, rising by 8.1 times to 4.1 million liters. More moderate growth was recorded in the production of cognac, which increased by 6.5% to 16.4 million liters, vodka, liqueur, and other alcoholic beverages increased by 5.3% to 1 million liters, and beer increased by 6.7% to 25.3 million liters.
