ArmInfo.Imports of oil products to Armenia in the first half of 2024 decreased by 16.4% per annum, amounting to 219.5 thousand tons. At the same time, the customs value decreased by 10% - to $ 209.7 million. This is evidenced by data from the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia.
Oil products were mainly imported from Russia (79.8%), Greece (6.4%), Iran (3.7%), Lebanon (2.4%), Turkey (1.8%), Bulgaria (0.9%), the Republic of Korea (0.3%), as well as from Germany, the Netherlands, the UAE, Belarus, Belgium, Lithuania, the United Kingdom, Austria, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Poland, Canada, India, Singapore, Serbia, Romania, China, Ukraine, Switzerland, Sweden, the United States, Japan, Georgia, Finland, France, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Costa Rica.
The export of oil products showed a more significant decline - by 95.7%, amounting to 26.5 tons, with a decrease in customs value by 84.8% to $295.1 thousand. The bulk of oil product exports went to the Russian Federation (96.6%), and the remaining volume was distributed between Georgia, Belarus, and South Africa.
