ArmInfo.Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia David Khudatyan received the delegation led by Carolin Geginat, Country Manager of the World Bank (WB) for Armenia
As reported by the press service of the department, welcoming the guests, the minister expressed readiness to continue the existing cooperation with the World Bank and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.
At the meeting, it was noted that the cooperation portfolio of the World Bank and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure is quite extensive, and a large number of projects are being implemented through joint efforts.
During the meeting, the "Water Supply and Irrigation Services Improvement Program" planned jointly with the World Bank was discussed.
Since the beginning of its activities in Armenia in 1992, the World Bank has provided Armenia with about $2.7 billion from the IBRD, the International Development Association (IDA) and various trust funds. Armenia became a member of the IDA in 2023.
