ArmInfo. Armenia has entered the TOP-10 most popular destinations for Russians during the New Year period, as reported by Russian media, citing data from the Association of Travel Aggregators (ATAG), as well as other specialized services.
Specifically, Armenia claimed the 7th spot, ahead of Kazakhstan, China and Italy. Preceding Armenia on the list were Belarus, Turkey, Thailand, Uzbekistan, the UAE and Georgia. On average, the cost of a night booked abroad was 13.8 thousand rubles, which is 10% higher than last year. It should be noted that, according to the Tourism Committee, 922.2 thousand tourists from Russia visited Armenia in 2024, which is almost 24% lower than the previous year's figure.
