ArmInfo.The Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia, Eduard Hakobyan, discussed key aspects of customs and tax cooperation between the two countries at a meeting with the Ambassador of Russia to the Republic of Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin.
As reported by the press service of the SRC of Armenia, Eduard Hakobyan touched upon the organization and implementation of a pilot program for the use of navigation seals when moving goods between Armenia and Russia. This program was agreed upon at a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Issues held on December 20, 2024. The Chairman of the SRC highlighted the importance of developing a draft intergovernmental agreement on the use of navigation seals for road transport. Additionally, the parties addressed the issues that arise at the Upper Lars border checkpoint and explored possible solutions. At the end of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their commitment for close cooperation to achieve common goals.
