ArmInfo. The road through the Upper Lars checkpoint (Georgian- Russian border) is closed. This was reported to ArmInfo correspondent by the customs attache of the RA Embassy in Russia Vahan Hakobyan.

The Georgian Military Road is currently the only land route  connecting Georgia and Armenia with Russia.
