ArmInfo.In January 2025, the consolidated budget of the Republic of Armenia received 232.8 billion drams in tax revenues and state duties, which is 55.2 billion drams or 31.1% more than in the same period last year.
According to the press service of the State Revenue Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the tax authority collected about 220.6 billion drams, which is 34.6 billion drams or 18.6% more than in the same period last year.
The customs authority collected about 32.8 billion drams, which is 5.9 billion drams or 21.8% more than in the same period last year.
<Thus, tax and customs authorities collected a total of 253.4 billion drams, of which 20.6 billion drams were returned to taxpayers and individuals. As a result, the state budget received 232.8 billion drams in the form of tax revenues and state duties>, the Tax and Customs Committee explained.
According to the state budget for 2025, GDP growth is expected to be 5.1% this year. Revenues will amount to 2 trillion 873.6 billion drams, of which 2 trillion 720.3 billion drams are tax revenues and state duties. Expenditures are projected at 3 trillion 441.6 billion drams, of which 2 trillion 706.8 billion drams will be allocated for current expenses. Capital expenditures will reach 734.9 billion drams (6.7% of GDP). The deficit is planned at 604 billion drams (5.5% of GDP). The GDP deflator is expected at 2.5%, average inflation at 3.6%.
