ArmInfo. The Made by Armenians 2025 exhibition has opened in the city of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates (UAE), which will include business meetings and cultural events.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, the event was attended by the Minister of Economy of Armenia Gevorg Papoyan, , Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, who took place in Ras Al Khaimah.
Attending were Mr. Mohamed Ali Abdulla Musabbeh Al Nuaim, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Director of RAK Properties PJSC, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the UAE Karen Grigoryan, as well as businessmen, investors and government officials from Armenia, the UAE and other countries.
During the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Papoyan noted that Armenia and the UAE are linked by a prosperous and dynamically developing economic partnership. In particular, he recalled that in 2024, the volume of mutual trade turnover exceeded $5 billion, having increased more than 2-fold compared to the previous year. According to the minister, the export of Armenian goods to the UAE has also increased several-fold, which indicates growing demand and strengthening of business ties.

It should be noted that according to the RA Statistical Committee, the foreign trade turnover between Armenia and the UAE in 2024 will be increased by 2.3 times, providing a volume of $5.3 billion. At the same time, the lion's share of the turnover comes from exports - $5.2 billion, with growth of 2.4 times over the year, against the backdrop of import growth by 12% to $82.4 million.
