ArmInfo.The Defense Innovation Agency, subordinate to the French Ministry of Defense, is interested in cooperation with the Military-Industrial Committee of Armenia and the Ministry of High-Tech Industry. This was stated during a meeting between Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Mantashyan, Chairman of the Military Industry Committee Aram Jivanyan and a delegation led by Director of the French Defense Innovation Agency General Patrick Aufort.
In particular, General Aufort said that he wants to get acquainted with the high-tech industry ecosystem in more detail in order to identify and discuss key areas of cooperation.
According to the agency's report, the parties discussed a number of issues on the agenda of mutual interest related to high technologies, artificial intelligence, technological education, and exchanged views on further steps and plans for the development and expansion of cooperation.
Having highly appreciated the multi-sectoral cooperation with France, Gevorg Mantashyan presented in detail the activities of the ministry, programs and initiatives aimed at developing the sphere, touched upon the works and programs implemented by the state.
