ArmInfo. Ecotourism infrastructure in target communities of Armenia will be improved. This became known following the meeting of the Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of Armenia Lusine Gevorgyan with the working group of the grant program "RESILAND: Sustainable Landscapes of Armenia".
In addition, within the framework of the program, it is planned to conduct training courses for retraining specialists in communities providing services in the field of hospitality and ecotourism.
The program is implemented by the of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia with funding from the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and in cooperation with the World Bank.
As reported by the press service of the Tourism Committee, during the meeting the parties discussed the progress of the program and cooperation issues.
