ArmInfo. The supply of Russian natural gas to Armenia has been temporarily suspended. This was stated in a statement by Gazprom Armenia CJSC.
The statement notes that the suspension of supplies is due to the need to carry out emergency recovery operations on the territory of Georgia.
"From 09:00 to 18:00 on March 18, emergency recovery operations will be carried out on the Kazakh- Saguramo section of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia transit gas pipeline on the territory of Georgia, in connection with which the supply of natural gas to Armenia will be temporarily suspended. During the specified period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supply to consumers of the republic will be carried out without restrictions due to internal reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplies from the Islamic Republic of Iran," the statement says.
