However, as noted in the report of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the roads leading from the high- mountain meteorological station "Amberd" to Lake Kari and the Amberd fortress are closed. The turns of Spitak, Stepanavan and Dilijan are closed for trucks. The Nigavan-Tsilkar highway is difficult to pass for trucks.
The source notes that it is currently snowing in the Lori region (except for the city of Spitak), in the Ashotsk and Aparan regions. Fog is observed in the highland regions of the Syunik region. A blizzard is raging in the Aragats region. According to information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all types of vehicles.
