ArmInfo. Armenia and Hong Kong, a Special Administrative Region of China, will cooperate on matters concerning the prevention of double taxation and tax evasion. The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia ratified the relevant draft agreement at a plenary session on March 26.
According to Deputy Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia Arman Poghosyan, the document was signed in Yerevan on June 24, 2024. Ratifying the agreement will facilitate the growth of trade in goods and services, as well as the flow of capital, technology and people between the Republic of Armenia and Hong Kong, fostering economic ties. It should be noted that the Chinese side has already ratified the submitted document.
