The Wine Travel Awards (WTA) is an innovative global platform for  wine tourism that features a new and inclusive format. The WTA is a  single advertising and information hybrid campaign (offline and  online events and information resources) in different countries,  dedicated to recognizing and elevating excellence in wine tourism.   Nominees  for the WTA Award come from different sectors of the wine  industry, including wine and spirits producers, museums and  destinations, restaurants, wine routes and associations, wine and  food festivals, wine schools, wine ambassadors, winemakers,  sommeliers, journalists, brand ambassadors, wine guides, teachers,  bloggers, and content creators.  The WTA offers 6 nominations in  total: , , , ,   and . The award was  established by the Drinks+ Media  Group in partnership with the MIX marketing agency.
