Armenia, IMF discuss tax reforms

ArmInfo. Armenia and the International Monetary Fund are discussing the possibilities of tax reforms. This was discussed during the meeting of the Chairperson of  the RA National Assembly Committee Tsovinar Vardanyan with the head  of the IMF mission in Armenia Iva Petrova.

As reported by the press service of the RA National Assembly, during  the meeting the parties discussed the implementation of measures  envisaged by the current IMF program and expressed their readiness to  strengthen partnership relations.

The prospects for cooperation with the IMF, the possibilities of tax  reforms, the effective implementation of budget expenditures, the  improvement of state support programs, a number of programs  implemented in the field of fiscal policy, and other issues related  to reforms and risks in the financial sector were discussed.
