ArmInfo. The Armenian Embassy in Lithuania summed up the visit of the delegation headed by the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan to Estonia.
According to the embassy, Hayrapetyan was on a working visit to Estonia from March 31 to April 2, where the Armenian delegation was also joined by the Ambassador of Armenia to Lithuania Ara Margaryan.
It is noted that the purpose of the visit was to study Estonia's experience in the areas of digital governance, cybersecurity and digitalization of public services, as well as to hold a number of meetings with sector representatives in order to strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.
"On April 2, the delegation met with Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. Key issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, including: digitalization processes, development of the cybersecurity sector, and artificial intelligence settings.
The parties emphasized the need for close and continuous cooperation in these areas in order to increase its effectiveness.
After the meeting, the delegation took part in working presentations and thematic discussions organized at the Estonian Foreign Ministry, which were dedicated to best practices in the field of digital governance and cybersecurity," the statement said.
