ArmInfo. The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development will provide a 102 million euro loan to Armenia to enhance the quality of healthcare services. At its meeting on April 11, the Health Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia provided a positive conclusion on the draft agreement with the Bank submitted by the government for ratification. Lena Nanushyan, Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, noted in her speech that the agreement was signed on July 25, 2024. The goal of the loan program is to assist the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia in implementing comprehensive health insurance and enhancing primary healthcare services. The project also aims to improve the efficiency of public healthcare spending and reduce financial barriers for the population in accessing medical services.
