
ArmInfo. As part of his working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan met with his Uzbek counterpart Jamshid Khodjaev in Tashkent on April 30.
As reported by the press service of the RA government, during the meeting, the interlocutors emphasized the need to realize the great potential for the development of bilateral trade and economic relations, and also emphasized the importance of intensifying contacts and joint investment programs between the business circles of the two countries.
On the same day, Mher Grigoryan met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Kuchkarov.
During the meeting, the possibilities and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Uzbekistan were discussed.
The interlocutors also discussed regional developments. In this context, an exchange of views took place on the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative presented by the Armenian government, and its importance in terms of establishing lasting peace and stability in the region was emphasized.
