ArmInfo. The Georgian side has promised to provide clarifications regarding the situation involving the delay of Armenian cargo at the Gezi terminal and to conduct a laboratory analysis of Armenian cognac products soon - specifically within a time frame of 10 minutes to 2 days. This information was reported to journalists by Gayane Poghosyan, an export specialist at the Proshyan Cognac Factory, following a meeting with the Georgian Ambassador to Armenia, Georgiy Sharvashidze.
It should be noted that the negotiations with the Ambassador were preceded by an action by entrepreneurs and transport companies outside the Georgian diplomatic mission. Conveying Sharvashidze's words, she noted that the Embassy had contacted official Tbilisi to obtain clarifications regarding the current situation. As soon as they are received, the Ambassador promised that he will immediately inform the Armenian entrepreneurs. Gayane Poghosyan also noted that if the issue is not resolved, the protests will continue, since we are talking about a serious issue that requires an urgent solution.
