Jeff Barr: Amazon Web Services  interested in enhancing partnership  with Armenia

ArmInfo. On May 23, RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan received Vice President of Amazon Web Services  (AWS) Jeff Barr.

As reported by the press service of the head of state,  the President  highly appreciated Armenia's cooperation with the global  technological giant Amazon, emphasizing its importance in terms of  the development of the country's digital agenda and high  technologies, as well as forming an innovative environment. The  President thanked Jeff Barr for visiting Armenia and noted that such  high-level contacts contribute to the expansion of bilateral  cooperation.

Jeff Barr expressed gratitude for the reception and the opportunity  for a productive dialogue. He emphasized that cooperation with  Armenia has already yielded tangible results and continuous to  develop.  He noted that Amazon Web Services is interested in  enhancing its partnership with Armenia, especially in high  technology, educational initiatives and innovative solutions. During  the meeting, the possibilities of joint projects in  digitalization,  artificial intelligence, data management and related areas were  discussed.  The potential for developing new initiatives and projects  aimed at contributing  to full realization of Armenia's technological  potential were also discussed.
