ArmInfo. Employees of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia have revealed a fact of shadow turnover in the amount of about 9.1 billion drams.
According to the SRC, the department received operational data that an enterprise engaged in the trade of food and non-food products in the city of Sevan in the Gegharkunik region accepts cash for the goods sold and does not issue a cash receipt, but only provides an internal accounting document. As a result, the company avoided paying a particularly large amount of taxes. The operational data obtained as a result of the comprehensive and large-scale operational and investigative measures were confirmed.
Factual data and circumstances were received indicating that the company concealed sales turnover in the amount of about 9.1 billion drams in the period from October 3, 2018 to March 26, 2025.
Based on the actual data, a preliminary calculation of the damage caused was made, according to which the state suffered damage in the amount of more than 2.6 billion drams. A criminal case was initiated.
