ArmInfo. The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia informs participants in foreign economic activity (FEA) that, within the framework of customs reforms, customs servicing of goods exported from the Republic of Armenia (including to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union) on the territory of the country will be carried out around the clock, seven days a week (24/7) from June 1, 2025.
What opportunities will the reform provide for FEA participants As a result of the reform, from June 1, 2025, customs declarations for goods exported from the Republic of Armenia (including to the member states of the EAEU) will be accepted, serviced and goods will be released by the customs authority on the territory of the country around the clock, on any day and at any time. This function will be performed by employees specially assigned for this purpose in the customs authority. Let us recall that before this reform, the export process within the country was serviced only on working days and only during working hours, and on non-working days and hours, export formalities could only be carried out at checkpoints across the state border, which in turn led to additional workload and queues at checkpoints.
What features should be known for using the toolkit Considering that customs formalities for export from the Republic of Armenia are mainly carried out at customs offices located in Yerevan and Vanadzor, as well as at the Bagratashen state border checkpoint, therefore, round-the-clock customs service of exported goods will be carried out in Yerevan and Vanadzor, as well as at the temporary storage warehouse of Damuar Group LLC, located in Ayrum, Tavush region, near the Bagratashen checkpoint.
In order to organize the work efficiently, it is necessary to pay attention to the following two points: 1. In Yerevan, outside working hours (Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00), as well as on weekends, the release of goods will currently be carried out only from the following temporary storage warehouses: - Temporary storage warehouse of Urban Logistics Service Terminal CJSC (address: Yerevan, 62/23 Araratyan Street, code: MHT00036), - Temporary storage warehouse of Valenisa JV LLC (address: Yerevan, 43 Shirak Street, code: MHT00007).
2. In Lori and Tavush regions, the release of goods exported outside working hours (Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00), as well as on weekends, will be carried out: - From the customs service hall located in Vanadzor (address: Vanadzor, Moskovyan Street, 44, code: 05100030), - From the temporary storage warehouse of Damur Group LLC, located in Ayrum (address: Tavush region, Ayrum Street, 10, code: MHT00018).
What is required to organize customs service of exported goods on a 24/7 basis? For goods exported from the Republic of Armenia outside working hours (Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00), as well as on weekends, the applicant must indicate in the customs declaration and transit declaration (TT TS) field the location of the goods, respectively: - Temporary storage warehouse of CJSC (code: MHT00036), - Temporary storage warehouse of JV LLC (code: MHT00007), - Customs control zone located in the city of Vanadzor (code: 05100030), - Temporary storage warehouse of LLC, located in the city of Ayrum (address: Tavush region, Ayrum city, 10 Predprinimateley Street (code: MHT00018)).
Before registering the declaration, pay all customs duties (state duty) and attach documents justifying the payment according to classifier <90009>, which will allow you to organize your activities more efficiently, completing customs-related processes in a short time.
In order to ease the burden and reduce queues at checkpoints across the state border when leaving the Republic of Armenia, the Committee calls on economic entities engaged in export to carry out export formalities within the country as independently as possible.
