Dilijan laureate of MICE Excellence Awards in field of business  tourism

ArmInfo.  Dilijan, thanks to its Meet Dilijan initiative, has become a laureate of the prestigious MICE Excellence Awards in the field of business tourism.

The Meet Dilijan initiative is aimed at developing the city as a  modern destination. It was launched in 2025 and in a short time received international recognition, presenting Dilijan as a  competitive, flexible and innovative destination not only in the  South Caucasus but also beyond.

The award ceremony took place in Moscow. The winner was determined by the results of the voting by a jury consisting of leading international experts in this field.

The MICE Excellence Awards is a professional award in the field of organizing business and corporate events and business tourism, which was established in 2024. The award identifies the best industry initiatives in Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus and the CIS countries. The competition evaluates the industry from three sides: projects in the field of business and corporate events; event management agencies, hotels and alternative venues for organizing events, marketing companies, offices and ministries of tourism and destinations; professional event organizers. The mission of the award  is to identify trends and benchmarks, leaders who will set the  trajectory of the development of the event management market, exchange experience and expand the professional horizons of industry participants, shape the sustainable development of the MICE industry, provide an independent assessment and rank industry participants.
