Wine output in decline in Armenia 

ArmInfo.  Wine production in Armenia continues to decline. Thus, according to the RA Statistical Committee, 1.8 million liters of wine were produced in January-April 2025, which is 38.8% lower than the same period last year. At the same time, the volume of sparkling wine (champagne) decreased by 28%  year-on-year to 283.1 thousand liters.

The volume of cognac production also dropped significantly. In  particular, during the reporting period, cognac production decreased  by 32.3% to 4.5 million liters. A decline was also recorded in the line of vodka, liqueur and other alcoholic beverages - by 7% to 431.1 thousand liters.

There was growth in other types of alcoholic beverages produced in Armenia. In particular, the volume of whiskey production increased by 76.7% to 883.9 thousand liters, and beer by 4.7% to 6.9 million liters.
