ArmInfo.Five small reservoirs are planned to be built in Armenia. This was stated by the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia David Khudatyan during the discussions in the country's parliament on the implementation of the 2024 state budget on June 11.
According to him, there are already design and estimate documentation for the construction of five small reservoirs. The examination of two of them has been completed, while the process is ongoing for the remaining three. It is planned to launch a tender process for the selection of contractors for the construction of these reservoirs this year.
Khudatyan also said that the filling of the Vedi reservoir with water is currently ongoing. As for the Kaps reservoir, a problem with the contractor arose, which led to a deviation from the previously established deadline of more than 1 year. The Minister emphasized that negotiations are underway with the contractor on the advisability of continuing cooperation.
