Armenia to use space information for disaster risk management

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has put forth a new legislative proposal for public discussion, which focuses on using space information for effective disaster risk management.

As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Ministry of  Internal Affairs of Armenia, the goal of this initiative is to  prevent and minimize the consequences of natural disasters and  climate change in the country. The need for this initiative,  according to the source, became evident during the recent floods in the Lori and Tavush regions.
