Pashinyan discusses steps for establishing a major AI data center in  Armenia

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Firebird co-founder and CEO Razmig Hovakimyan, NVIDIA Vice President Rev Lebaredyan and Team Telecom Armenia co-founder and chairman of the board of directors Alexander Yesayan.  

As reported by the Prime Minister's press service, they discussed issues  related to the establishment of  a significant artificial intelligence data center in Armenia. The investment program is expected to cost approximately $ 500 million.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of implementing the  project and highlighted the support of the Government of the Republic  of Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan stated that it will give a new impetus  and will have a significant impact on advancing the technological  sphere in Armenia. Razmig Hovakimyan thanked the Government of the  Republic of Armenia for supporting the project and presented detailed  information on the upcoming programs and steps.
