Armenia, WIPO discussed ways to enhance collaboration

ArmInfo. Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan met with Director of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Daren Tang.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance  collaboration with WIPO focusing on enhancing creative industries,  protecting intellectual property, promoting innovative initiatives  and supporting the effective implementation of Armenia's national  strategy in this area.  Minister Papoyan outlined the  Armenian  government's efforts and strategic priorities in intellectual  property and expressed gratitude to WIPO for its ongoing support of  projects in Armenia.

In turn, Daren Tang highly appreciated Armenia's active involvement  in WIPO initiatives and expressed willingness to assist in  implementing new joint programs, particularly, in developing local  creative potential, implementing educational initiatives and  advancing intellectual property strategy.
