As of June 30 this year, according to the approved plan (from January to June), 45.1 billion drams were to be received in the budget of the Yerevan Municipality, but in fact 39.9 billion drams were collected. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan was informed about this during a working meeting on July 14.
Thus, the execution of the revenue part of the capital's municipality budget was 88.5%, and the amount of lost funds exceeded 5 billion drams. Of this amount, as noted, 3 billion drams are due to lost payments for bus fares.
In this regard, Tigran Avinyan emphasized that efforts must be made to improve the collection of funds related to public transport. In this regard, he reported that a relevant draft law is already ready, instructing those responsible to submit a work program in the near future.
In addition, the mayor was informed that the revenue part of issuing permits for design and construction was 52.7%. That is, out of the planned 17.1 billion drams, 9 billion drams were actually collected.
