ArmInfo. Armenia has already reached out to international reputable companies in partner countries to discuss potential collaboration on the Electric Networks of Armenia matter, as stated by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a press conference on July 16, in response to a question about the potential transferring of management of the networks to a Turkish company.
According to the Prime Minister, it is almost impossible to imagine that among these companies, there would be those with which Yerevan would not have diplomatic relations and would have closed roads. "This will not happen, and it should be obvious to everyone that this topic is being promoted for domestic political speculation. But one thing is clear, we have sent signals to our partners about the possibility of discussing the recruitment of a qualified manager," the RA Prime Minister noted. Answering a question about deliberate power outages at state-owned CJSC High-Voltage Power Transmission Lines, in order to later shift the blame onto CJSC ESA, the RA Prime Minister emphasized the need to conduct an investigation into this issue. Moreover, both an investigation and a study should be conducted. "At this stage, ESA is not yet state-owned, but when this happens, and I hope soon, and a manager is appointed, I will ask him to address this issue," the head of the Armenian state said.
