Armenia and Bulgaria are willing to continue cooperation in political, economic, high-tech spheres, as well as in other areas of mutual interest, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, citing the results of the meeting in Sofia between the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgiev.
It is reported that the parties outlined new prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation and highly appreciated the centuries-old historical and cultural ties between the peoples of the two countries, as well as the friendly relations formed on the basis of mutual respect and common values.
Minister Hayrapetyan presented Armenia's achievements in high-tech industry and emphasized the willingness to enhance cooperation in this regard.
Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev noted that Armenia is an important partner in the wider Black Sea region and stressed that achieving a safer and more stable environment depends on strengthening ties and trust between Europe and Asia. He reaffirmed Bulgaria's readiness to share experience and promote Armenia's rapprochement with the European Union.
Note that Hayrapetyan visited Bulgaria to participate in the Ninth Session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Bulgaria
